We’re looking for a talented and motivated recruiter with full-cycle technical recruiting experience — from attracting new candidates through interviewing and hiring.

As a technical recruiter at tawk.to, you will work closely with department managers to proactively identify and source qualified team members for our engineering and developer positions. You will also assist our Head Recruiter in filling general Virtual Assistant roles.

Our ideal candidate holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates

Job responsibilities:

  • Creating new recruiting strategies
  • Creating and modifying new job descriptions
  • Understanding industry trends, qualifications and requirements for each position
  • Understanding and communicating the mission of tawk.to
  • Creating recruitment documents
  • Posting jobs on industry employment boards and social channels
  • Proactive recruitment via LinkedIn and cold outreach
  • Screening backgrounds
  • Conducting candidate interviews

Your Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience as a Technical Recruiter with a proven track record of monthly hiring for technical positions
  • Experience in recruiting Virtual Assistants, a plus
  • Adept in utilizing and managing a variety of online job boards, like LinkedIn, Monster, and Hubstaff, among others
  • Adept at attracting candidates using a variety of sources, including social media, networking and referrals.
  • Highly skilled in LinkedIn networking, promotion, and cold outreach
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Familiarity with the following preferred: server-side JavaScript programming (Node.js), NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cassandra/Elasticsearch or others), in-memory key-value stores (Redis/MemCache or others), Linux knowledge, Agile/Scrum/Pair programming, HTTP and Git
  • Experience with HR databases
  • Experience with MS Office/G Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • BA/BSc degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field
